My Transition Seminar (Formerly SCAN) General Release

The ‘My Transition Seminar’ program is open to any CAF member at any point in their career, with spouses/partners and caregivers encouraged to attend. Transition seminars are designed to assist CAF members with their transition from military to civilian life and registration is based on the release item the member is expected to be released under. Those members undergoing or expecting to undergo a non-medical release should register for the General MTS, while members undergoing or expecting to undergo a medical release, should register for Medical MTS. Only those members wishing to attend both modules for professional development purposes, or because they are unsure of their release item, should register for both days. Module 1A (general) presentations will include information on pensions, financial planning, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and an overview of a variety of release administration and benefits.
