Step right up! Formation Fun Day is coming your way September 12, 2026.
For over a decade, Formation Fun Day has celebrated the CFB Esquimalt community. This annual event includes over 30 vendors for live music, free BBQ, and fun activities such as rock climbing, face painting, pony rides, bubble making, and so much more. With over 1000 attendees every year, the event is designed for fun and connection. This year, Formation Fun Day is moving its location from Naden Athletic Centre to Work Point where the fun will continue.

Time: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Venue: Work Point (Nixon Building and surrounding grassy areas)
Cost: This is a FREE event for the Defence community including serving members, veterans, base employees, and their families
